Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of DawnStep, operated by AT Dawn Technologies (“AT Dawn”, “we”, “us”). By signing up for or using DawnStep, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
DawnStep is a hosted applicant tracking and AI-interviewing platform. Features include candidate pipeline management, AI interviews, rubric-driven evaluation, SSO-based access, integration with Microsoft Teams, and transactional email.
2. Customer responsibilities
- You are responsible for the lawful collection and use of candidate data processed through DawnStep.
- You must obtain any consents required under applicable law — including for AI-interview recording and proctoring — before inviting candidates.
- You are responsible for the acts and omissions of your users.
- You agree not to use DawnStep to discriminate against candidates in violation of applicable law.
3. Our responsibilities
- We will provide DawnStep with reasonable care and skill.
- We will maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards as described in our security page.
- We will not use candidate data to train general-purpose AI models.
4. Subscription and fees
DawnStep is offered on a subscription basis. Fees, billing cadence, and seat counts are set out in your order form. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Data processing
We act as a processor of personal data on your behalf. A data processing addendum (DPA) is available on request at legal@dawnstep.ai.
6. Intellectual property
AT Dawn retains all right, title, and interest in DawnStep and its underlying technology. You retain all rights in the data you upload, including candidate data. We receive a limited licence to process that data solely to provide the service.
7. Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other party's confidential information with the same care it uses to protect its own, and in no event less than reasonable care.
8. Warranty disclaimers
DawnStep is provided “as is.” AT Dawn disclaims all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, except as expressly set out in these Terms.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party's liability under these Terms will exceed the fees paid by the customer to AT Dawn in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate for material breach not cured within 30 days of written notice. On termination, we will delete or return customer data within 30 days.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction set out in your order form. In the absence of such designation, they are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
